From What-Cha

A smooth and sweet tasting tea with a nice malt finish, devoid of any astringency or bitterness. The flavour shifts towards milk chocolate in latter steeps.

An oriental beauty style oolong tea produced from the ancient tea plants in Jingmai, it is very heavily oxidised and tastes more like a black tea than an oolong, so I’ve taken the decision to list it as a black tea.

The chocolatey taste reminds me a little of the Shan Tuyet tea I just reviewed. This is a little milder, and the flavors are subtle. It smells and tastes almost toasted, and like many of the teas I like, is gently sweet. I just finished my sample and will likely order more. I like this one a lot as an afternoon tea, because of its mild flavor.
