From Verdant Tea

This stunningly clean, rich and foresty example is crafted from pre-Qingming harvest maocha picked from one hundred to five hundred year trees, and wrapped in bamboo leaf cut fresh from the native bamboo growing across the mountainside. After only two years of aging, it displays the clean rich complexity normally only seen on shu pu’er a decade old or older.

New to tea here so I wanted to put this ea up to see what other people think of it. To me it’s very pleasant but a lot of high woodyness and a sort of scotch like smell and sharpness but not a lot of ground, a little empty and watery like I’m missing out on some low notes. Seems to have decent staying power and a pretty strong energetic feeling. Mouth feel is on the thinner side with a slight grittiness. Does anyone know how this year compares with other years?
