Like many Chinese teas, Keemun Black Tea is named after its birth place – An-Hui province Keemun area.
Keemun Black Tea is the only black tea listed in the “top ten premium Chinese tea list”. Its landmark accreditation is its winning of a golden award at the 1915 Panama World’s Trade Fair.
Premium Keemun Black Tea leaves are tight and slim with visible golden fine fur. The tea has a rich reddish color with a smooth texture and gently sweet aroma, which has been described as ‘roses like’. Keemun Black has also a unique ‘Keemum fragrance’: a hint of wine, flower, fruit and pine.
It is considered as one of the world’s top three black teas (together with Darjeeling Black Tea & Sri Lanka Ceylon).
Our Keemun black tea is organically produced, premium quality and new season stock. It is a must try for those who enjoy a good cup of black tea.
