I’m surprised no one else has tried this tea on here.. it’s so awesome! One of the best flavored teas I’ve had so far. Yummy fruity sweetness! (and not overwhelming!) I definitely recommend trying a sample of it next time you order from Upton.

Thanks very much for this, Meowster! A decent enough fruity black tea. I think the base might be too astringent to really let the fruit flavors shine… the black tea is on the smaller side, while not being quite a CTC size small. So maybe I’ll try using less than a teaspoon next time. The fruit flavor also might be a generic “fruit” flavor, maybe even because there are a couple different fruits used here, so it’s hard to tell what they are exactly. Or because I have no idea what a Maracuja would taste like. This would be a great option for iced tea with the bitey black base.
Steep #1 // 1 teaspoon for a full mug // 18 minutes after boiling // 2 minute steep
Steep #2 // just boiled // 3 minute steep

Oh man… the season finale of Supernatural is EPIC. They have ALWAYS outdone themselves every season finale cliffhanger (and usually the mid-season cliffhanger). I think I at one point, years ago, imagined that the idea for this season finale would happen. Didn’t see it coming anyway, though!

This one is from meowster. It tastes mostly like plain black tea. Granted, I don’t know what maracuja tastes like, but I don’t notice any other flavors. It tastes decent, but if I wanted plain black tea, I would choose something else. I really like maracuja mango from DavidsTea, and I wish this were more like that!

This tea has been discontinued for years.

Ah, when I receive tea in an exchange, I have no idea how old it is. I guess that would explain why it just tastes like plain black!

This wasn’t what I thought it would taste like. It’s peachy and has alittle lychee like flavoring…not the passionfruit flavoring I was seeking. It’s ok, but I wouldn’t buy again.

There was a message on the container for this tea saying it is good iced, so I thought I’d give it a try. I really like passion fruit, so finding a good iced tea before the weather heats up would be nice.

I decided to brew this hot and allow it to cool on the counter before putting it in the fridge. The verdict? So good! The passion fruit flavor is present but not over the top and not overly floral. I really like this one, and it’s definitely going on my shopping list.

Wow, this is super tasty tea, and definitely needs trying as a cold steep! Juicy peach, or I guess in this case maracuya (passionfruit), reigns supreme, and it’s absolutely divine. I may need to get more of this!
