The variegated leaves range in appearance from silvery buds through light green and olive and is characteristic of a quality in-between tea. The cup is light and delicate with sweet notes and a pleasingly astringent finish.

I thought that maybe the tea between first and second flushes would be good, but it’s just okay. I thought maybe there’d be a bit of a light floral flavor and a bit more of the body of a second flush with that but it’s like a first flush without the real notes.
On the plus side because it’s so neutral it’s going to go very well with this cherry danish.
That’s just wrong! You can’t say cherry danish when I’m here and you’re there and I can imagine it but not taste it! Not fair!
haha the grocery store with the bulk tea and cherry tomatoes has a fantastic bakery. too bad everything is so fresh it doesn’t stand a chance going anywhere but home.
Boo, I was all good with not having a cherry danish (or other dessert) until you mentioned it…. Looks like I’ll have to have dessert tea instead (when I get home).
