From Unknown Vendor

Cacao Beans are selected, carefully roasted and cleaned. They’re ground in a huge mortar & pestle, called “pilon”, until an even paste is made. After that, the balls are formed by the hand of artisans, packed and ready to be enjoyed at home.

To prepare: Boil 1 quart of water or milk. Add 1 cacao ball, 1 stick of cinnamon, and a pinch of Nutmeg. Let to boil for 10 minutes, serve in your favorite mug and sweeten to taste.

1/2 cacao ball for 375 ml of water

I didn’t prepare it the recommended way because I wanted to see how it would taste on its own. Infused for 10 minutes. Resulting brew has a very thin mouth-feel. Dark chocolate taste slight bitter taste at the back of the throat.
