Found these Twinings Cold Infuse tisanes at my local grocery store, and picked up all three flavors they had to try. This one smells amazing, very juicy passion fruit.

However, I’m not a huge fan of it steeped up. The flavoring is nice enough, very juicy and potent tropical mix of passion fruit and mango. But there’s very little taste to it other than flavoring, which makes it come off extremely artificial. I would like to see a bit more flavor coming from the fruit pieces, or maybe some more hibiscus.

I’ll probably try adding this to some of my other cold brew tisanes to balance out that strong flavoring. Or maybe I’ll infuse it in lemonade instead…

I love these Cold Infuse Twinings teas! This one is really fruity and the flavour is pretty strong/intense. It’s like a punch in the face from a mango/passionfruit. Haha The two fruits mingle together well and it’s like a “taste of summer” with it’s definite juiciness. It has a tropical vibe and I think it would be perfect for sipping on those sunny patio days.
It couldn’t be any easier to use either. Fill up a large glass or jug or thermos with cold water and drop the tea bag in. Let it sit, stir and enjoy!
I try to stay away from pop or sugary drinks of any kind so these are perfect for me. I bought 4 different varieties and after trying out this one tonight, I have high hopes for the others!

A late night cuppa because I felt like I needed something cold and I didn’t have an ongoing cold brew and what was in the fridge was not yet ready to be strained. I’ve been doubling up on the sachets of these cold infuse teas lately because it’s been delivering the perfect level of potency for me that way, but this one didn’t work quite as well. It was very heavy and richly flavoured with a lot of mango in particular coming through in the taste but it tasted very chemical in its composition and the percentage of flavouring overall was harsh to the point where it left my tongue almost just a bit numb.
