Sipping this right now, green tea is perfected when lemon is added. It is also a great metabolism booster, combining lemon water and green tea extract!

I decided to re-review this tea, now that my tea palate has expanded.

Wow! Holy artificial lemon flavor batman! There’s also a fake honey scent that I don’t love. The green base isn’t bad by any means, but it’s not fantastic. Between Twinning’s wide stretching availability and the base, it could do as an intro green. Heck, I really liked it way back when. I tried making an several iced pitchers of this (both traditional hot brew and cold brew methods) last year and it was horrible not matter which way I did it (and how much sugar or honey added) – just as a heads up if someone was looking for a cheap green to make iced tea out of, this is NOT it!

Below is my boring review from 2 years ago. I scored this tea “80” at the time.

This has been my staple green for a while, and although I’m probably going to move on to greener tea pastures, I would imagine that I’ll always have a box in the house.

I discovered this tea while at a friend’s cottage. I was the first one up and noticed the tea in the cupboard so i made myself a cup…@5am and watched the sunrise over the lake. Simply, beautiful. The Tea , delightful. Ever since, i know that whatever day it is…i can enjoy this cup in a simple moment. And you can’t say no to a good green tea either ;).

This thing actually was my first touch to world of green tea, it was a mistake. No wonder if someone hates green tea because they’ve tasted this. Color is not even green it is brown or something and this artificial lemon. And those leaf bits in that bag, yuck. Also it is reeeally bitter if done with 100C like the bag suggests, do it with 80C and it’s not THAT horrible.

Pretty good green tea. Nice balance of the tea and the lemon. If you can’t keep a bottle of lemon juice or fresh ones around for some reason, this is a good substitute.

Great refreshing tea. Possibly my favorite of teabags.
