I don’t think anyone will question my choosing this tea this morning. I made pumpkin apple muffins for breakfast. They were just screaming at me to have chai, and this one was accessible and delicious. :) Warm, spicy, and just perfect with the muffins. Love!

I went on a chai craze this winter, and purchased a variety of chai teas. This one can definitely hold it’s own. It’s not too heavy on any particular spice, but comes together in a nice blend. I will be repurchasing.

I am always looking for a bagged tea to add to my travel stash, it’s just so much easier to brew on the go with a bag. And I try not to sacrifice taste too much. This Chai is very heavy on the clove with a second note of cardamon. I prefer more cinnamon or ginger in my chai, this one just seems a bit harsh and heavy to me. I do like that it is very forgiving, I can throw it in my travel mug and not worry about it getting bitter. I’m not sure that makes up for the overpowering clove, but maybe I should add another flavor teabag to make it more interesting.

Sipdown! Pretty good chai with lots of spicy cardamom, clove, and cinnamon. The base is decent (as is usual with Twinings tea), but not amazing. No malt, nothing creamy. If you want to take it up a notch, try coldbrewing this really strong and adding vanilla soy milk and a shot of espresso.

This is the first chai tea I ever tasted and when I realized that I love chai tea. For the price of this tea you really can’t go wrong and this little tea bag sure does brew a punch! The cardamon and clove are predominant in this tea followed by the cinnamon. I like to drink this one black with 1 teaspoon of sugar.

Not an exciting chai, but It’s warm and comforting with milk and sugar. I’ll make room for it in my tea drawer at work.

I use the teabag form – gasp!

I drank again at work today. There’s just something about their chai. It’s slightly flat, but I really love the combination of flavors. In fact, surprisingly, I still haven’t found another chai – loose leaf included that quite rivals it. On the search, because I know it’s out there. And, ya know, being a chai fan, I really MUST have a divine loose leaf chai.

So this is a Keurig K CUP version of this tea. This is one of the first Chai teas that I ever had when I first started drinking tea (the bagged kind) and so I have a respect for this tea, and the tea company.

The thing is, it just doesn’t have a ton of spice or flavour to me, and it always tastes a little watered down? I don’t mind the tea, at all, and it’s not BAD, but it’s not my favourite Chai. I did mix it with an iced Chai drink that had soy in it, and so it gave it a milky, extra spicy taste. That made it 10x better.

Not a bad tea, but not my favourite.
