I ordered ten TWG teas from The Urban Tea Merchant for my birthday and they are here to greet me on my return home from summer travels! Happy birthday me! :)
This is the first one I have tried. It smells very rich with a slight caramel scent and a touch of strawberry. I’m getting mostly strawberry for the taste, but it is very mellow and doesn’t have the sharp edge that a lot of strawberry greens have. There is something else there, maybe the caramel? I’m imagining this would be really good with some sugar to perk up and round out the dessert flavors, but for now I’m enjoying this cup plain.So far I like this, but I’m not really getting the crème brûlée that the name suggests. To be continued and further explored!
Strange, Creme Brulee with strawberry notes… I would think caramel and toast sugar would be at the forefront, but I bet with milk and sugar it would perk it up as you said. I love UTM!!
