We got this tea as a sample from the always wonderful Sandy!

I remember trying this some time ago hot, and while it was enjoyable, it didn’t really strike my fancy.

Iced though, this thing is a sparkly, sparkly gem.

The cinnamon and clove are the dominant flavors, definitely the stars of the show. The orange flavor is sweet and very natural tasting, melding in with the very, very smooth ceylon tea.

This thing I find most remarkable about this is it doesn’t make me think of Christmas, at all. I don’t get it, it should. The description and flavor combination screams Christmas like a heavy metal rendition of Here Comes Santa Claus. But the way the flavors blend together comes off a lot more distinct than I expected. Or, maybe it’s just because it’s iced, and I’m crazy. Both are distinct possibilities.

Anyway… this is still magically sitting in TropicalTeaCo’s $1.00/oz sale selection, and it’s a beaut of an iced tea. Probably one of their best. Double plus good, at least.

Wow, that’s cheap. Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind!

I was just about to tea log this one, too! I like it hot a lot. And, it doesn’t remind me of Christmas, either. I’ll bring you a bushel tomorrow.

Bonnie

I liked the sparkly sparkly part!

This is one of the better teas I’ve tried from Tropical Tea Company. Cinnamon and clove are the first to catch my attention. The orange flavor is sweet like those tiny little oranges you catch in the supermarket once a while. Those are so hit and miss for me, but this is like the good batch. The flavoring seems to be pretty well balanced and feels more on the natural side. Ceylon compliments the spices well, seeming to be on the brighter side. There is a bit of astringency but it’s not unbearable. Not a bad cup in the morning.

This was mom’s other pick of the day. The bag smell’s richly of clove and a fakeish clementine. When brewed, they both came across natural and rich. The taste was in your face but not overbearing. This seemed to be the favorite of the day, and may be my favorite from Tropical so far.

As Blake mentioned below, this is a pretty in your face tea. And, it’s super yummy.

As Dylan well knows, I don’t care for cinnamon. I didn’t notice it. I get the clove in full force and a nice undertone of clementine.

This is very good hot. I’m delighted to try it cold as well.

Very, very (VERY) cheap tea. I should call it inexpensive, but it was $1 per ounce. Doesn’t matter. It’s delicious.

Good job, Tropical Tea Company.

Thank you Sandy Stith for this wonderful sample!

I’ve been sticking to my comfort teas for a while. Maybe out of laziness, I don’t know.

Today however seemed fitting for something different. The cool crisp air that we’ve had the past few days just seemed like a perfect match for this. We’ve had the a/c off and all of our oversized windows wide open, letting in the most beautiful breeze. Oh how I love fall.

This tea was the perfect compliment to the changing weather. It was warm and spicy (not heat spicy of course, but spices spicy lol). The cloves were so fragrant and filled my kitchen with smells of the holidays. I didn’t get a lot of the clementine, but I could taste it underneath the other flavors so it wasn’t completely absent. Over all a very delicious flavor. I can picture myself enjoying a nice big mug full on Christmas morning while the kids open their gifts…. In fact, I’m going to go buy myself some because of that very image !
