From Theodor

Tea time is the perfect moment to sit down all together and to enjoy a delicious beverage, and Christmas season is gladly shared with family or with your loved ones. This ‘Japonic’ Christmas green tea, just like all the creations composing this unique collection, reveals the combination of atypical notes, imbued with lightness.

To compose this exquisite blend, the creator selected a green tea base, adding some verbena here and a few juniper berries there, giving it a pretty color with green shading.

After brewing this tea, enjoy this sweet vegetal perfume, accompanied by a spicy hint escaping from your cup. In your mouth, this Glutton Boy ‘Laponic’ green tea is presented on a cool note, before expressing flavors of red fruits and especially redcurrants. The juniper berry adds a small spicy touch that you will like in background note.

Between surprise and lightness, this verbena/redcurrant/juniper berry flavored Christmas green tea with satisfy your taste buds for a cup to be enjoyed at any time of the day.

Green tea (Origin: China) (71%), Verbena (8%), Juniper Berries (8%), Flavors (Red currant, Pine tree, Geranium), Pine buds (5%), Heather flowers.

What a strange tea! I bought this because I was intrigued by the juniper berries and pine. It smelled very bright and sharp. Brewed, it definitely has a pine flavor at the front of the sip, which morphs into juniper with some floral notes in there. It is a very crisp but smooth taste. It’s so strange and I like that! I’m surprised at how well balanced it is, that is isn’t overpowering and how well the flavors work together. It is very woody and savory, unlike any other tea I have.
