Willowy in shape and floral in scent, the Wu Dong Wong Zhi Xiang Dan Cong captures your attention right from the beginning. When brewed, the leaves release a delicate sweetness that complements its flowery fragrance. The liquor is bright orange in color and remarkably smooth in texture. You will first taste a fruity sweetness that quickly segues to a metallic bitterness. By now, the floweriness would have already permeated throughout your mouth. Although slightly astringent, the sweet aftertaste induces salivation that leaves you with a pleasant finish.
Truly magnificent, the Wu Dong Wong Zhi Xiang Dan Cong is one of our personal favorites. Highly recommended to those who enjoy a mild-bodied tea with intricate flavors.
