From The Tea Haus

Re-energize with this full bodied Ceylon. This black can be drunk hot or cold (it makes an exceptional ice tea). If you wish to bring out the lemon flavour even more, try a little bit of honey, which compliments this tea very nicely.

Made this one up today and stuck it in the fridge to drink iced. It is one of my favourite teas to drink cold, because it really is deliciously perfect. The lemon balances with a strong Ceylon black to create a cup of what I like to think of traditional iced tea. I added some agave this time and it really made the tea pop. Like most Tea Haus blacks there isn’t a dominating lemon flavour here, just one that plays so well in the black tea sandbox to make magic.

(Brewing details are for how it was brewed before cooling.)

Backlogging a few days. Attempting a sipdown but we had more of this than we thought – oops! I love all the Tea Haus blacks because the base they use is phenomenal, and this does not disappoint. When I want lemon I usually go for my beloved Lemon Gunpowder or one of the citrus-y oolongs from Davids, but this is a very good alternative. Perfectly balanced flavour.
