From The Steeping Room

Taiwanese Assamica #8 is a refined, hand-picked black tea from the Sun Moon Lake area in Nantou County. The leaves are large, as you might expect from a cousin to Indian Assamica trees. The flavor is deep and mellow, with notes of spice, honey, toast, and fruit jam.

Highly recommended – this is a desert island tea for us at TSR.

Yeah, its bread. That’s exactly what this tea reminds me of.
It can actually be quite enjoyable once I stop mentally trying to make it be like PTA.

The flavor is intriguing though I don’t know if it is enough for me to buy more. At least for now. Maybe it will be a consideration for the future.
