From The Silk Tea Co.

Endless daydreaming.
Inspired by the sultry afternoons of a languid Italian summer. Hear the lilt of birdsong beyond your windows as the linen curtains sigh. With each sip, the candied peaches and sun-ripened apricots in this elegant blend flirt to win your attention. Crafted with Darjeeling’s finest second flush black tea. Sip slowly and luxuriate in the sophistication of rose petals, lychee, and rare Thai osmanthus oolong. Rest, nap, and then resume play. Be generous with yourself.

The Silk Tea Brewing Ritual for this blend

For a sublime cup of In the Nude tea, scoop one teaspoon into your tea filter of choice. Boil water to 180ºF / 85ºC and gently pour over the tea. Steep for 2-3 minutes and enjoy. Lovely when served on ice and perfect for elevating with a splash of milk. Peaches and cream, anyone?

As always with The Silk Tea Co, this tea is good for re-steeping and will unfurl different flavors over a few refill pours of water. Each spoonful of this In the Nude whole leaf tea blend can yield 3-4 cups of delicious tea.

Ingredients

Darjeeling Castleton second flush black tea, peaches, apricot seeds, Thai osmanthus oolong, lychee, dark red rose petals, apples, flavors and safflowers.

This is delightful! Really juicy, authentic peach and lychee. The rose is barely detectable, and works really well with the peach and lychee. I would certainly purchase this again.

Sipdown (1583)!

My last cup was a little bit weaker than I expected it to be but there was still that really lush peach juice type of flavour that made me think of taking a bite out of a peach so perfectly ripe that it practically melts in your mouth. The undertones were more of a floral greener oolong mixed with the slightly drier nuttiness of the almond in the blend.

I’ve decided over time that while the peach note in this tea is so incredible I’m slowly getting less and less enthused with the almond addition. It really detracts from the focus of that succulent tender sweet peach for me. I do think that, were I to place another order with this company, I would still consider reordering this tea though.
