From The Boston Tea Company

Moroccan is a rockin’! A powerful mint flavor blends beautifully with a Chinese Gunpowder variety of long-leaf green tea. Hand-rolled to form tiny pellet, when steeped the leaves unfurl, releasing their delicate flavor; combined with Moroccan Mint, it makes for a uniquely refreshing tea! It’s fantastic iced, too!

I’m confused! I mean it happens easily but I just can’t seem to get a grasp on what I like and what I don’t. I’m pretty sure I don’t like green teas, not even green oolongs, then this happens.

So thank you LiberTEAS for this sample. I don’t have a lot to say about it. Moroccan Mint is… well, minty. I’m sure that this is a stark revelation for many but I’m known for having a steely sense of discernment so don’t feel inadequate or anything.

On top of minty this drink is crisp and refreshing. This would be a good tea to clean the palate with. I like it…mostly because I don’t taste the green but that’s beside the point. It just means I can’t completely scratch anything off of the list yet.

Nice. I’m drinking this hot at the moment, but, I’m thinking of putting this in my bottle for some cold-brewed steep & go goodness as well, just to see how it fairs. Right now, I’m loving how sweet and deliciously refreshing this is. Really nice after having pizza for dinner! Soothing and calming!

ETA: I forgot to add … Thanks to TeaEqualsBliss for sending this tea to me!!!

I’ve got a Boston Tea Company Dragonwell, and I was really impressed.

So far I haven’t tried a Boston Tea that wasn’t of an excellent quality—as always, some flavors are personally more tasty than others, but it’s all good stuff. Thumbs up on their dragonwell.

I see this brand occasionally when I am out of town. I will look around for it today in Raleigh and Durham.

@Ashmanra – I know I still owe you some teas – and I have this one set aside to send you along with some others! :)

I ordered this as a way to give regular gunpowder green a “second chance” to redeem itself. Pingshui green has been a bit of an enigma to my palate, as I don’t like the metallic-copper aftertaste, but I keep reminding myself that it’s perhaps just a matter of finding the right grade, or adjusting the way I steep it.
This time I decided to try it blended with mint, and I’m pleasantly surprised. The smoky-mixed-with-copper aftertaste isn’t there, it’s smoother, and the spearmint makes it a great calming/evening topper.
I have pics and a bit more detail at my homepage http://bit.ly/qyO6mz but I can definitively say this has maybe turned the tide for me on gunpowder green. I’ll be keeping it in my cupboard.
