From The Amber Rose Tea Company

Assam is the world’s largest tea growing region. This is where Assam bush, Camellia sinensis assamica, was discovered in 1823. Produced on the bank of the Brahmaputra River in the Assam Valley in North East India.

The leaf is large and bold with tip (denoting quality). The liquor is deep and rich with a well rounded traditionally smooth malty flavour.
