From Teeccino

Nutty shredded coconut adds warmth to deep roasted dandelion and chicory roots; plus a spike of orange peel and the sweetness of dates and figs

Hmmmmmm! is what people sigh when they take their first sips of this fragrant, coconut-infused dandelion coffee. Just the aroma alone is enough to set your taste buds spinning with desire. Ok, you have to be a coconut lover to get off on this brew. If you are one of its many fans, then you’ll find that coconut is lifted to new heights by boosting it with the roasted depth of body from chicory and dandelion roots. Nutty against bitter with a hint of orange. Like I was saying, “hmmmmmm!”.

Ingredients
Roasted organic carob, organic chicory, organic dandelion root, organic dates, organic almonds, organic orange peel, organic coconut, organic figs, natural coconut and orange flavors.
Contains: Almonds
*All Teeccino flavors are extracted from plants and comply with organic standards.

I’m not a coconut fan, but I actually love the flavor they accomplished here. The coconut is light, but it blends perfectly with this base. The base is lighter and more enjoyable than some of the other Teeccino teas as well. The flavor is so desserty, and the second steep tasted just like the first. I’d consider buying a larger amount next time!

This is one of my favorites from them. The coconut doesn’t disappoint!

Day 9 of the Teeccino advent calendar and my 800th tasting note! I way overdid it with the caffeine yesterday and then couldn’t fall asleep until 5am, so I had to take it easy today. As terrible as Day 8’s Chaga Ashwagandha Butterscotch Cream was, this is all the way at the other end of the spectrum. It’s absolutely delicious, with all of the flavors complementing each other wonderfully and no harsh edges. The toasted coconut aroma and flavor is on point. Technically it’s supposed to just be coconut, but it’s coming across as toasted to me, probably because of the carob/chicory/dandelion root base. I made this as an oat milk latte and it was just a liquid macaroon. Marvelous.

Part of the Avent tea, but I’m not sure which day this was supposed to be. I am not drinking them in order. This smells very coconutty, and the toasted coconut blends very well with the chicory and date flavors. This is not my least favorite Teeccino flavor, I think this toastyness is growing on me.

2022 sipdown no. 45

A tea from Cameron!

This really wasn’t bad, and I was a bit concerned. I added just a splash of soy milk. The dandelion base was exactly what I expected and the coconut flavour wasn’t fake or cloying at all. Overall not a bad cup, but not something I need in my cupboard.

In this sampler pack, this one was fair-to-middling. It’s good if you like coconut, and the coconut flavor works well with the roasted dandelion and chicory base, because toasted coconut is a thing. Not as good as the Caramel Nut and Dark Roast blends, and not something I’d be in the mood for every day… but again, as with the Mocha Mint blend, I’m not unhappy that I got to try it.
