Such a good white tea. The jasmine is strong, but not overpowering, the white is delicate and sweet, just perfect. And its very affordable.

Sweetness is a bit dilute. I will try to infuse this for a 4 minutes next time. Bold jasmine flavour which combines well with the white tea taste. The white tea has a sugary quality to the flavour. Slight creamy heaviness in the brew. Vegetal note in aftertaste.

Ever feel like you’re the last one to get in on a secret? That’s how I felt moments after water came into contact with this tea! The pleasant aroma of jasmine was wafting from the pot before I could even get the lid on. I could hardly wait for it to finish steeping, and when it did, the taste was even better than the aroma!

This is blurring the lines between tea and tisane in taste alone. Lightly floral and sweet, with a refreshing edge like mint or something. Every breath I take is cool and fresh after drinking a cup. My wife downed her cup almost immediately. I had brew another so she could slow down and savor it a little.

This sample from Teavivre was a ringer…I will definitely order some of this.

I almost sent you some of this, but I was afraid you might not like the jasmine! Teavivre’s jasmine is natural, as the tea leaves are infused with the scent while drying alongside jasmine blossoms. It is so relaxing to me, like a spa day in a cup.

This tasting is Jasmine silver needle by teavivre. I was really anxious to do a tasting of this after getting the sampler pack. Ive always loved jasmine tea, and it goes so well with the light sweet vegetal taste of silver needle. Doing a very quick brew at about 20-30 seconds with 175 degree water, I got an almost clear liquor, very similar to the regular white needle.

The first thing that I get is a nice mellow jasmine aroma and flavor, then a light sweetness and just a touch of vegetal flavors. Its so sweet and mellow without overstating it, I just adore jasmine silver needles, this is going down as one of my favorite tea’s. The silver needles are a beautiful silver color, that turns a lovely shade of green.

I highly recommend this tea if you enjoy jasmine aroma and flavor, its intense enough without being overpowering.

This was not a good tea to brew Grampa style. The leaves do not sink, so it is difficult to drink the cup of floating leaves. LPT: use a steeper instead of being lazy

I appreciate how high quality the white tea leaves are. They are all intact and very fuzzy. The smooth and sweet white tea really pairs well with the jasmine. The jasmine is flavourful, but not bitter. I think white tea is better than green or black with jasmine because of its flavourful but not overpowering undertones.

Had this sample from Teavivre from awhile back and just found it and decided to make it the other day.

Reached a conclusion – I love jasmine tea!! Can’t say I’ve had many others to compare it to, but I’ve added this one to my wish list. It’s smooth and not overpowering at all. I found it very relaxing to drink.

Evidently I’m a floral tea lover! Jasmine, rose…. Just need to revisit a violet tea!

Oh and I think this is my favorite jasmine tea I’ve tried, but most from Teavivre are amazing. I won’t buy jasmine teas anywhere else anyway.

I got this as a sample. It was just an okay silver needle. I was ruined by a silver needle tea I had from Grace Tea Company, and from looking at my other reviews, I have yet to find one to match.

This one doesn’t, either. The jasmine isn’t overpowering, and at a good balance. It fills the void for the need I want something light and mellow.

GCTTB DAY 4

Been eyeing this one for a few days and finally mustered up the courage to give it a shot. Not because I’m afraid of the flavour, but because I’ve read that silver needle tea is notoriously finicky and fragile in terms of brewing parameters, and since I normally just eyeball and guesstimate things I was a little apprehensive about messing it up. However, it actually turned out okay. I don’t have a variable kettle so I baby sat the water as it heated with the top open and my face pretty much stuck in there in place of a thermometer. I turned it off as it was just getting hot, which is assume is around the right temperature. Steeped a teaspoon for about two minutes.

Not too sure what I think of this one. On the one hand it’s my first time tasting silver needle white tea (albeit flavoured), but in all honesty it just tastes like a rather weaker green tea to me. It has a slightly fishy/seaweedy taste to it that is offputting, but the familiar jasmine note is there. I wasn’t very impressed with this one. Maybe I went in with too high expectations? Silver needle tea was also one of those “expensive rare teas” that I always dreamt about trying but never had the chance to. Never meet your heroes, eh?

Just kidding, it just wasn’t my type of tea. I much rather just prefer my Jasmine Gold Dragon tea from Tea Time which has the most similar flavour profile to this one.

Random note: the wet leaf reminded me of edemame.

Lovely aroma, refined and delicate jasmine flavor. This is a top shelf jasmine tea that has a very natural taste. It’s not overly perfumey nor fake-tasting like many other varieties of Jasmine tea. The silver needles are in a harmonious balance with the jasmine. It’s the perfect tea for grandpa steeping or cold brewing.

If I had to fault anything, it would be that it doesn’t really distinguish itself from the upper echelon of jasmine teas. Yunnan Sourcing and Verdant’s silver needles taste very similar. Between these three, you could close your eyes and pick any tea and it will still be more or less the same.

I thought my water was hot but it was just luke warm. Also I must confess that I always add honey to jasmine teas. So my taste compared to others will be a bit different. This is a good jasmine. Light like most whites. I love how the honey and jasmine meld and become great combination. The dry scent is also floral and relaxing.
