There’s a lot of things people don’t like about Teavana around here, but this tea is something they got right.

The dominant flavor by far is cinnamon, accented by apple and citrus notes. It tastes just like an overly spiced hot apple cider, which is kind of my thing. If you don’t like spiced cider, or are looking for an apple-heavy tea, this is not the tea for you.

The smell of this tea in my travel mug on a cool fall morning just plain makes me happy. It reminds me I’ll be home enjoying the fall and my family 8 short hours from now.

Its a little sweet for my liking as is…. Very deep tones of apple and plum… i had to add cream to this guy to break up the sweetness a little. Overall not diappointed, but i wish it would have been more apple spice, less plum sweet. This guy plays well with Caramel Almond…

I’m really not sure about this tea…it’s definitely spiced – tastes heavy on cinnamon and possibly clove – and I saw the apple bits go into the infuser, but I’m not getting the apple cider that I think they were going for.

Final verdict on this one is that it’s just okay. Like many, many other Teavana blends…I’ve had better elsewhere. I’ll likely not even drink what’s left in my cup – much less the rest of the bag – so it’ll be going into my swap drawer.

I brewed another cup of this last night using my leftover leaves. The second steep is so much better than the first! The cinnamon is still the prominent flavor, but is toned down enough to actually compliment the apple. The floral notes are gone! It actually tastes like apple cider!

Now I’m really on the fence about this one…

Not a lot of flavor in this one. I find that to be the case for me when consuming apple teas though. I want a lot of flavor and the apple never delivers. Back in the Caffeine Free TTB you go, little fella.

This tea reminds me of mulled cider, which is exactly what I was hoping for when I purchased it. I do understand that some people think that some of the spices are overwhelming, but spiced is the first word in the name of the tea. I think I would’ve been disappointed if it had a mild flavor. I guess we all can’t like the same tea and to each their own.

This tisane is delicious. When brewed right it taste’s precisely like apple cider. It’s a potent tea, which is good but surprising since most Teavana teas tend to be weak.
The taste is strongly of apple and cinnamon. The cinnamon tastes like cheap quality; giving the tea a very bitter back.
Really though, It tastes like an overly spiced cup of cider.
I love it, a strong punch of flavor, but I really love cider!

While was at school on Monday, I got this email from Teavana about a new tea: Spiced Apple Cider. So I just had to go get some right away. Literally right away. Teavana is about a two minutes away from where I was at the moment.

This tea has a very unique flavour profile, that really does not appeal to me. It has a very strong cinnamon flavour, it is what I taste the most. At first, the tea is sweet, really sweet, like an apple. Then it turns sour, like apple cider. The very, very, very strong cinnamon taste is all the way through until and even after you swallow. A bit unpleasant.

I think that if you like apple cider, you will probably like this tea as well. I don’t want to discourage anyone from trying this tea, it just really disappointed me.
