I like it, but I don’t love it. It is quite sweet (which I like) and orange (good). The spice is well in the background and, for me, it needs to be beefed up a bit. But, it wasn’t advertised as chai, so maybe this was intentional. I think next time I might blend with a chai. Still, overall I’d recommend it as a hot orange tea. I bet it would be a good tea for when you have a cold or the flu.
EDIT: I resteeped it with a tsp. of maharaja chai oolong tea (Teavana) and it helped a lot. Still, with so many teas out there, I don’t think this tea is one I will repurchase quickly.

Like most of the Teavana teas I’ve tried, this smells divine…like a nice, juicy orange studded with cloves and a cinnamon stick. The taste doesn’t quite live up to the scent, but I do enjoy it. The fruitiness and spiciness are nicely balanced and it has a silky smooth texture in the mouth that I really like. Just don’t over-steep it, or you’ll get a nasty bitter/sour brew!

Small Big Traveling Tea Box

This tea has a wonderfully strong scent of cinnamon and spices. It is warm and cinnamony with a light touch of oolong and sweet orange. It reminds me of the transition from summer to fall. Gorgeous. I don’t know that I would go out and buy a cup of this, but I’m enjoying it so much while it is here.

I enjoyed this tea a lot. I wish that the oolong flavor would be a bit more prominent, but the orange with a bit of spice was very pleasant. As my cup cooled down it was just as tasty, but the orange became the primary flavor. I definitely prefer this hot, but am thankful that it doesn’t become a terrible tea experience if it cools!

Yep – still don’t like this tea! I need to get rid of this, so I’m drinking it. It is sour and only a little spicy. All I taste is tartness on the first steep. Later steeps are generally nicer, but I’m on steep 1 right now, trying not to add sugar. I’ll bet Teavana makes tea like this so that you buy their rock sugar.

So, despite the obvious lack of actual oolong in this one (pretty common for Teavana?) I really like this one. At 3 minutes steeping, it’s a fairly strong cup. The first taste is of juicy oranges, then comes a fair amount of cinnamon and the tingling of cloves on the front of the tongue. The rest of the spices just seem to enhance everything else! Yum.

This is a pretty decent tea. It has a little bit of spice to it, and the finish, to me, is a sort of watery citrus that I’m not sure if I like or dislike.

I steep it for 3-3.5 minutes @ 195F and usually get two steepings out of it.

I really like this tea. It reminds me of something from my childhood that I can’t seem to place. I really like the spice mixed with the orange, and that it’s not too spicy. This is probably in my top 5 Teavana teas because it doesn’t leave an after taste. I’ll most likely be purchasing some more of this tea.
