Tealux have created a true praline. A lavish amount of cocoa peel and large pineapple flakes, which emerge invitingly from the black tea base. The harmonious scent of two aromas lies in the air. The sweet ripened pineapples flakes with delicious chocolate complement the slight spiciness of the black tea.

I liked this tea but I’m having a tough time quantifying how much. I would have preferred more pineapple, for sure. I thought this would be like “three friends” but with pineapple instead of chocolate. Having said that, I prefer it to the “pineapple upside down cake” from della terra.
It smells delicious once steeped and certainly more so once it’s cooled off. I have just 1 oz so maybe I can make up my mind about it in later cups. I’m looking for more Tealux faves so I can make regular orders. There’s only so much “dragon lychee pearls” one can buy.

Wasn’t a huge fan of the tea base; rather boring and even a little astringency coming through. Fixed with Paul’s Lactose-Free milk as that usually fixes most things. This particular brand of milk is seriously delicious though.
Now it’s a hot pineapple chocolate milk. Quite enjoyable, but any tea that I can only enjoy with milk isn’t one that I’m likely to repurchase.
