Here’s Hoping TTB

Where’s the creme brulee? All I’m tasting here is rooibos with a hint of mint. Not a fan.

Sorry… this is a big no for me. I was excited because I love creme brulee but this is a rooibos power trip. With a side of mint. As far as sweetness goes, honestly, there really isn’t any. Sorry just not my … cuppa

Here’s Hoping Traveling Tea Box

While this tea does not taste like creme brulee at all to me, I found that I enjoyed it anyway. It was a pleasant combination of minty vanilla flavour. It had a certain light creaminess, from the vanilla I think, that I liked. Only occasionally could I detect any rooibos flavour, and it wasn’t overpowering when I did. I steeped this twice and was pleased with both infusions. I’d recommend any mint lover to give it a go.

Here’s Hoping Traveling Teabox – Round #5 – Tea #19
First tasting note for this one? Sad. This one wasn’t on Steepster and now Tealated is gone! You’d think a rooibos blend could never be called ‘creme brulee’. But this is the smoothest rooibos. So nice. The rooibos is also a deep red. This one is a winner just for the type of rooibos alone. Then it’s like a light mint & spearmint flavor and something else that says ‘dessert’. Osmanthus flowers are in the blend, which to me should be peachy and therefore not work here, but I’m not tasting them. I feel like there should be something more to the blend though. There are a handful of minty rooibos blends in the teabox but I love to sip them at night. :D
