One of the finest black teas of the province Provinz Yunnan in China, which is legendary for its black tea processing. Hardly any other Chinese region is that deep connected with black tea.
For the Yunnan Gold the whole leave and the leave bud are manually picked and cautiously pressed to fine needles by hand. It is a remarkably classy black tea with the malty sweetness in the background characteristical for the Yunnan teas, very harmonic without acerbity. The taste shows clear flavours of cocoa and fine nuances of dried fruits. The slightly chocolate like flavour is unique. It’s an excellent morning tea and can be enjoyed pure and also with milk and sugar.
