This superfine grade Dahongpao is one of the best available. Wuyi Mountain, in the north of Fujian province, is the birthplace of this ‘king’ of teas called Dahongpao, and also known as the Big Red Robe or The Emperor’s Crimson Robe in English.
The best thing about a great Dahongpao is the aftertaste (hints of osmanthus). While drinking the tea you will find that it leaves a nice taste in your throat. However, the truly amazing thing is that after drinking the tea the taste is still there, and it will even return to the tip of your tongue. Even if you drink a glass of water afterwards the great taste of Dahongpao will remain.
