From Tazo

One of Tazo’s Herbal Infusions, Refresh™ is a blend of northwest grown peppermint and spearmint leaves and features the sweet licorice-like taste of tarragon.

Even though this type of beverage is often described as an herbal tea, there is actually no tea in it at all. Instead it’s a blend of leaves and herbs that has been used for centuries to enhance health and well being. As a result, it contains no caffeine.

This pretty much is a straight mint tea. If there was Tarragon in it, I couldn’t taste it.

I first experienced Tazo Refresh, peppermint, spearmint, and tarragon, mixed with Tazo Awake, a wonderful black tea, together sweetened with natural sugar. Yum!
I have the tea bags but prefer loose leaf when I go to a favorite bookstore. The mint flavor is strong but not overwhelming. Tarragon adds a mild flavor change you can barely detect but enough you know there is more than two mints in the cup of relaxation.
I love that I can enjoy this tea anytime or mix with other teas for a flavor sensation!

I had hoped the tarragon would make this more than just another mint tea. It didn’t. Instead I have a lingering taste of the spearmint.

Nice. Minty flavor. This is something I will order when I am done with my loose peppermint leaves. The tea bag makes drinking peppermint way easier! and this IS a nice blend.

I am struggling with my score on this tea. I can’t really taste the tarragon, but the mint is lovely. It’s nice, and I’m enjoying drinking it, but I was hoping for more.

My favorite mint tea. I think the tarragon lends it a darker, herby background. I like to brew it with a cheap green tea and drink it iced.

Peppermint tea with a bit of a kick in the form of additional fragrant herbs such as tarragon. May be overwhelmed by most kinds of food, so probably best consumed on its own, but works well for late nights when caffeine is out and a little mood boost would be more than welcome.

It’s basically just mint tea. No real tarragon flavor to speak of.

One of my favorite teas. Good for tummies and throats and lungs.
