I received a HUGE box of this from LiberTEAS! WOW!!!

Honestly, this is the first time I have ever tried anything from Yorkshire (Taylors of Harrogate)…I’m so glad I got the opportunity to try it!

When they refer to this as standard…it pretty much sums it up! It’s a fairly standard black tea in a bag. I think it’s pretty flavorful for a bagged tea and it’s not bad. A good bagged tea to have on hand…never know when you might need it, ya know!?

It’s alright.

This tea is hardcore. Honestly, it beats up other teas in back alleys and consumes their strength, adding it to its own. If you steep one of these bad boy teabags for a while, it’s almost like drinking a cup of coffee. It means series business and I love it.

I LOVE IT.

I picked up a box from a British import store when I was visiting my parents in Ontario over Easter, and I’m really considering making them send me more because this tea has become my best friend and confidant.

It’s a strong, standard black tea, and I was surprised that I liked it so much because I’m usually wary of teas that come in bags with an undetermined sitting-on-store-shelf time. But this was fresh tasting, with full, fresh, punch-in-the-face flavour.

If you drink one tea this summer, drink this one.

Classic British tea! We call it ’builder’s tea’ in my family. :) I get my mum to bring this over for me when she visits. I love how strong it is and how it stains my mug with all that tannin. This tea can be made so ridiculously strong and absolutely needs lashings of milk and sugar. I brew this tea up when I need some serious comforting. A personal favourite. Tea snobs take note: you’re missing out.

My dad works for British Imports so I get this tea as well as PG Tips and Rich Tea biscuits. To me this tea is not as good as the PG Tips but still proof that inexpensive tea bags can be great quity tea. I enjoy this tea with organic vanilla creamer and the Rich Tea biscuits every other three mornings (I have a lot of morning type teas) and because of it I always greet the rest of the day with a smile.

I actually browse the shelves at Home Goods and TJMaxx for my tea as their prices are excellent and one finds some very unusual teas there. I am most definitely a hard core black tea person however, and since they no longer carry the best tea in the world – Twinning 1706, I saw lots of the Taylor’s of Harrogate and decided to try that. Wonderful stuff! Sadly however, after a year of their having it, the shelves are currently bare. So it was either back to ordering 1706 from Amazon or order my Taylor’s online. Decisions…decisions… but there really is nothing quite like the 17006.

First day in Switzerland with Cara after not seeing her for almost six months. It feels like a day at a coffee shop with her back when we were in high school. The tea is from her friend who lives in England. Swiss flag cup (nothing could be better.)

Got 2 boxes of this for $5 at a Home Goods. This is the best tea I’ve ever had. I don’t know shit about teas to know if this is of quality. If there’s anything similar to this, I’d love to know. I’ve had a cup almost every day since I bought it with a little brown sugar oat milk creamer and it creates this deep almost nutty flavor. I will compare all black teas to this now.

This full-bodied tea is a foundation for so many builder’s brews all around the world. It’s strong, but still has plenty of flavour and isn’t over-powering, like some black tea bag-type teas. Brewed too long it can be bitter and astringent, brewed just right it can be lovely and really wakes me up in the morning.

What I like about it is that the strong body of the tea means you can pretty much flavour it however you like and it will still taste like Yorkshire tea.

A trustworthy tea and a totally dependable brand.
