As well, the higher theanine and soluble nitrogen content contributes in heightening the compelling exotic sweetness of this tea. It is truly a unique tea that comes from a uniquely rich soil and grows in the best natural conditions one can find. This extremely rare organic Lishan offers one the most authentic and satisfying high-mountain tea tasting experience one can enjoy. We had the joy of featuring the teas of this magnificent garde for 3 seasons now and we again have the privilege of offering a very limited lot this winter’s production. Made from a small garden of slow-grown Cing Xin leaves, this tea delivers all the subtle nuances of alpine meadow freshness, fragrant bouquets of exotic flowers and a thick buttery smoothness that enthrals the palate. When we say subtle, we don’t mean weak! We mean subtle as in intricate and complex but in a more subdued way that titilates the senses in many sensory riddles. There is nothing like letting nature balance the the tone of what this tea delivers in a most harmonious and generous way. This tea also matures magnificently. The winter 2014 production shines with a bouquet that is quite heady!
