A frenzy of florals including roses, hibiscus, lavender, cornflower and marigold blossoms flirt with the citrus songs of lemongrass and orange to make for an energising herbal hit. Heavenly hot or iced.

Finally got my last bit of this out of the back of pantry and into one of my storage containers. Started with a big 2L cold steep of it on the weekend.

This was my least favourite of the three Mother’s Day 2013 teas but a cold steep is bringing it more into my favour. The lavender comes out surprisingly strongly, as well as the lemongrass, and the hibiscus gives it an obnoxious red colour but doesn’t make things too tart. Tart, definitely, but not overpoweringly so.

Drinking the last of this is gonna be just fine.
