From Steven Smith Teamaker

An elegant blend of high-grown Ceylon black teas aged and scented in a Pinot Noir barrel. Deliciously complex with a subtle taste of oak, nuances of Pinot Noir grapes and herbes de Provence. An unlikely, but rewarding, pairing.

Having another cup of this today … so nice. I am really glad that I decided to pick this tea up the last time I was at Steven Smith’s tea shop. It is sweet, grape-y with notes of currant, savory herbs and a touch of deep oaky flavor … very nice… relaxing to sip

I really like this.

Another tea from TastyBrew! Thanks!
This is an interesting brew. I’m not a fan of Ceylon much, but I enjoyed this with breakfast. It was definitely fruity, in a winey sort of way, and a little tart. I’ve never had a tea that was aged in a wine barrel, & honestly never thought about that sort of thing. It’s actually a pretty cool idea though. Probably not something I’d ever purchase, but worth trying. Thanks Tasty, for the opportunity!
