Looking for the perfect poolside iced tea? Look no further. This is a classic brisk and slightly malty tea that practically begs for a slice of lemon. The leaves are cut slightly smaller allowing for maximum flavor release and complete ease in brewing!

This was excellent iced with lemon as described. I did prefer to make it at little stronger than what was called for to prevent flavor loss when icing.

This tea was ideal for first thing in the morning or a mid afternoon pick me up. It has nice fruity notes and a lovely sweetness that makes it a very pleasant experience. It was great hot with a squeeze of lemon and I could tell that it would make a delicious iced ted although I never had it that way. The recommended steep time was perfect but it did need longer steep times with each resteep. I resteeped each 4g twice adding about a minute to the steep each time. I drink tea everyday and this is definitely a tea that I could make my everyday tea.

Origin: Tamil Nadu, India
Dry Leaf: Very finely chopped, dark mahogany brown,,,almost large coffee ground size leaves with scents of dried fruit.
Method: Western teapot with 1 tsp tea and 12 oz water. 212F for 2.5 minutes.
Wet Leaf: The cute little chopped pieces have reconstituted now and they have a good sweet raisin scent.
Liquor: Clear, light reddish amber. Smells very sweet like apple, raisin, and citrus
Flavor: Clean and smooth, not harsh or bitter. No astringency at all. Slightly creamy mouthfeel at the finish. Notes of apple peel, apple fruit, and a bit of black fig. Very enjoyable cup!! Was in the Steepster Select box that was entitled ‘Iced Iced Baby’ ,,for it would make a great iced tea but I never got to iced tea because it was an excellent hot cup of tea!!!!!!!!!!
