From Single Origin Teas

Our classic take on the time-less English Breakfast tea. This artisanal tea is exclusively blended in our shop using predominately our Mokalbari East Assam with a dash of tea from the Kaporet estate in Kenya.

The results of these two teas give a robust mellow brew, that handles milk and sugar well, and is perfect for, well, breakfast!

Breakfast teas have long been popular brew in both this country and in the UK. Our English Breakfast containing both Indian tea as well as Kenyan tea, offers a classic more traditional brew than is found elsewhere. The robust nature of the Kenyan tea, with the classic malty caramel taste of the Assam, make a rich drink that will help you to take on the day.

Mmmm… so this may be one of the better English Breakfast blends I’ve had. Of course, it probably helps that I like both of the teas that make up this blend. It’s a deep, golden red, chewy, hefty kick in the pants. Why I’m drinking it with dinner… eh. :)

And it is excellent with cream. :)

I shouldn’t be posting this out of order, because technically my first review would be in my little notebook and I haven’t transferred it online yet.

However, I drank some this morning, and really enjoy it as a breakfast tea.

Today’s circumstances were a little different, because I needed something comforting. If you google “#prayformoncton”, you will understand. We have made the news worldwide.

This is my city, my family and friends are in the lockdown zone, trapped in their houses.
This began last night at around 7:30pm….
The guy killed 3 RCMP officers and wounded 2 others.
I went to bed last night hoping to wake up to some good news but he’s still out there.
The only thing that makes me feel better is that he doesn’t seem to be targeting civilians.

I’ve never felt so violated and unsafe. Stuff like this is not supposed to happen in our safe little city.

RIP to the officers who lost their lives trying to protect us. May they catch this idiot without anymore losses.

If it can happen here, it can happen anywhere. :(

Lala

Sending my prayers your way and for the officers and their families. It was horrible to hear about. Stay safe.

mrs.stenhouse12

Prayers to you and everyone over there!

Roswell Strange

Echoing everything Lala said! Stay safe!

I heard about it on the news this morning – first thing when I woke up. This is totally awful, and I wish you and everyone around you continued safety.

caile

That is so horrible. Stay safe!
