2011 Mengku BingDao (Ice Island) Jade Leaf Raw 500g
A premium product from Mengku Tea Factory. This tea is produced from the material plucked from 500 year old tea trees and offers a fresh and gentle flavor with long lasting sweetness. BingDao is the name of a little village in the Shuangjiang area. The Ancient BingDao tea garden is one of the origins of pu-erh tea, it is famous for large leaves. Bingdao [Ice Island] refers to a grove of qiaomu [arbor] trees in the Mengku region, famed for its pungent strong teas and the cooling sensation that its soup imparts in the mouth. Bing Dao teas were fradulently sold as Ban Zhang teas in 2006 and 2007 due to the similarities.
