Sipdown! (20 | 423)

My last sample from Gabby! :) I’ve never heard of this company (I guess this tea really is secret, heh heh…), but apparently they’re based in Taiwan.

So I thought this was flavored, but it seems like it’s actually just a blend of black tea with raspberries, grapes, and hibiscus. The added ingredients are quite subtle, but I do pick up on the grapes specifically, and it’s really nice with the black tea. It’s a deep, dark grapey note without any tartness to it, which makes sense given apparently they’re grapes used for pinot noir.

I don’t think it’s something I would buy, it’s a bit too subtle and the Darjeeling base isn’t really nuanced enough to carry the tea. But I did enjoy trying it, and that dark grapey note is quite nice.
