In the packet this smells of chocolate and strawberries. I get where the chocolate is coming from, but there are no berries listed in the ingredients. Perhaps from the natural flavouring? It reminds me assorted chocolates in a gift box and the one with the strawberry centre.
This brews up a lush deep pink and it tastes of chocolate cake. The vanilla is prominent straight away and, I don’t know how they manage this, but there’s a buttery, creaminess that, along with the chocolate and vanilla, absolutely nails the taste of cake. I don’t get anything in the way of berries during my first few sips, but as it cools I get a faint jam flavoured aftertaste.
This is absolutely gorgeous. I only purchased a mini sample pack of this, and I’m already regretting not ordering a bigger bag. I can see me finishing off the sample in no time.
