Backlog from a few days ago:

I’ve had this twice since I bought it, and I quite like it. The ginger flavour is really strong here and melds well with the lime and lemongrass – the whole thing smells like ginger ale when I open it up, which I love.

The base here is not too strong, but not too weak, either. I’m really happy I got this blend, as I’ve been looking for a good ginger/citrus green for a while.

I have to say it: I really like RiverTea’s blends. Not all of them work, but when they work, they work.

Lewis and Clarke

So I went to my dad’s today. I ended up having day old pizza for lunch, and Italian takeout for dinner. I think all the heavy food after eating pretty much nothing but oatmeal isn’t sitting well, and my tummy isn’t feeling good. I saw this and thought, hey it’s got ginger, maybe it’ll settle my tumtum.

This isn’t bad. Lemony and gingery. Not my favorite, but it’s still nice and it seems to be helping my stomach.

That sounds like pretty heavy food in general! Now is the time for sencha! :P

Came as a sample in my first RiverTea’s package. I don’t usually like green teas, especially not ginger lemon teas, but this tea has a bright, freshness with a surprising creaminess that I wasn’t expecting. I’m tempted to get this in the 1.76 oz size so can add it to my summer white sweet rotation. It’s pretty rare that I love just about everything in my order but RiverTea’s customer service, delivery, package and careful consideration on picking out my samples might just make me a customer for life.
