From Ringtons Ltd

Location & Farm Info

Our Jade organic Oolong tea is sourced from 8 smallholder farms surrounding the Bao Kang mountains, close to the city of Xinfeng in the Chinese province of Hubei.
Blend Information

Pure Green Organic Oolong tea, organically grown in China.
Tasting Notes

The extent of oxidation of the Jade Oolong is only slight, and hence it is more akin to a green tea, but the flavour is much more complex and interesting, with a subtle sweetness. As with all Oolongs, the flavour develops in successive infusions.
Caffeine Guide Low
Infusion Instructions

Fresh water at 85-90C and allow 2-3 minutes for the first infusion.

Then 20-30 seconds is enough for each successive infusion after the leaves have fully opened. The leaves can be infused many times.

Relogged because I’ve figured it out.

This tea is fussy. Or maybe I’m just used to teas that can take abuse, IDK, but basically if you go even slightly over 2 1/4 minutes it’s overbrewed (I mean 2 1/2 minutes brings out a bitter note.)

It’s actually kinda nice if handled carefully.
