A feast for the eyes and a delight to the palate, Tropical black tea is intended to brighten up the morning with a blast of sweet mango fruitiness. We began this blend with a great Chinese black loose leaf tea and added large chunks of dried mango for sweetness. The mango is a fruit filled with water, and when steeped after drying, it releases almost all of its unique sugars in one blast. The mild, sweet floral flavor of cornflowers adds depth to the strong mango flavors, as well as a beautiful blue tinge to the black tea blend! This is a tea for the mornings, when its sweetness can measure up to the breakfast flavors you enjoy.
I liked this one. It’s a strong black tea, with a pleasant mango smell and taste. Nothing artificial or overwhelming. I see this as an alternative to my normal breakfast teas (I tend to like things like Irish Breakfast or Earl Grey, something strong) since it adds a different flavor to the mix.
I have a rather large bag of this if anyone wants to swap samples!
