From PureAromaTea

When you open your bag, you would not recognise it’s a fruit tea. It looks like a bag of candies! This perfect fruit combination creates a delicate and sweet vanilla marzipan taste.

Ingredients: grapes, fig pieces, elderberries, candied pineapple pieces, coconut chips, candied papaya pieces, orange pieces, prunus spinosa fruits, flavour, cloves, vanilla pieces.

To brew: put one or two teaspoon per person in a teapot or mug infuser. Add fresh, boiling water. Brew for 10 – 12 minutes. Enjoy!

backlog sipdown! (223, after some adds and deletions but there’s another box waiting at the post office for me….eek!)

Another tea that went off to my friend last night after sharing a cup. I don’t think i’d reorder this but not because it isn’t a lovely tea. I just don’t love the taste of marzipan so it wouldn’t be something i would need to have on hand lots. I would however pick this up now and then in the sampler size to have a few cups :)

What’s this – a fruit infusion that doesn’t contain hibiscus!?

I hot-brewed a generous 3 tsp of this tea for a few minutes before sticking it in the fridge to brew a bit longer, and I am definitely pretty impressed with the results. It tastes a bit like marzipan, but I can taste some of the individual elements as well, like a hint of cloves and orange. Also – the fruit chunks in this are HUGE! Making it less-than-optimal for making single cups, as it’s difficult to get all the ingredients in there, but great for a sweet, refreshing jug of iced tea.

I’m sure this is an expensive tea, just due to being composed of heavy fruit chunks, but I’d certainly pick some up again for summer, as this is quite a unique, delicious, hibiscus-free blend!

There’s so many chunky fruity yummy bits, I could totally eat this as trail mix! (Fiance and I both had to nibble the fruits before we made a cup. Too tempting!)

Tastewise, and I’m not sure how with all the fruit and trail mix feel, it’s tastes like vanilla marzipan. It’s a little uncanny. The end note of each sip has a little but of fruity lift, but otherwise? Dead on.

I’m gonna be really sad when this is gone. This is like a perfect comforting before bed caffeine free cup.
