From pu-erh.sk

Korean green tea picked in the spring of 2015 in Hadong district, Jiri mountains. Grown and produced by an organic, one of the best small tea companies making all-hand made tea in the area. The tea leaves were packed in the tea farm so that the very freshness is provided. The tea gives several, even 5-6 good tea brews. Its making (a way of producing it) preserves his freshness even for more that a year.
JungJak ‘grade’ refers to the second flush that is performed from May 1st to 7th.
The taste is refined, nutty aftertaste, salty and sweetish. In overall is tasty and with a strong fragrance.
Processed from leaves receiving abundant sunshine.

Bought a 50g package of this with my last order. This tea is slightly grassy and slightly vegetal. It does have a certain natural sweetness to it. It is very good as green teas go. It, however, reminds me why I don’t buy too many green teas. I’m not a big fan of them. To me, this is perhaps as good as a straight green gets. I think any big fan of green teas will really like this. For one thing it has virtually no bitterness.

I steeped this three times in a 220ml gaiwan with 5.1g leaf and 175 degree water. I steeped it for 1 min, 1 min 15 sec, and 1.5 min.

I received a free sample of this tea in my last teaware order. They have wonderful teaware on this site and thanks to boychik for telling me about it and enabling me! ;)

I’m not usually into green tea, but I’ve heard there’s something unique and different about those from Korea, so it was worth a shot! The dry leaf smelled sugary and nutty. Once wet, the leaves are more vegetal in aroma, and there’s some saltiness there too! The tea tastes a lot like asparagus and spinach, nutty and vegetal. It’s a very beautiful tea, with little verdant green leaves and a vibrant greenish yellow liquor. I also felt very warm drinking it. Overall, I enjoyed my session with it.
