Also known as Dong Fang Mei Ren tea, is a highly oxidised Taiwanese oolong with a phenomenal floral perfume caused by insects biting the leaf before harvesting. Made from 100 year old Qing Xin Da Mao tea trees and processed in summer 2012 in Miaoli by Mr Hsu, a fourth generation tea maker, this tea has an unusual sweet/sour flavour and honeyed muscatel aroma reminiscent of some light second flush Darjeelings.
