Tropical, Floral, Vibrant

“Our farm to cup process reinvents southern tea. Taste the difference of hand processed local fruits and herbs in our teas.”

Despite the sin of not actually having tea leaves, this ambrosial tisane does its penance in spades. Brought quite literally down to earth with the hibiscus flower and dried rose hips, the peaches, papaya and pineapple combine into a deep, nuanced flavor that is simple, healthful and deliciously hydrating.

Ingredients: hibiscus, peaches, pineapples, papayas, rosehips, lemon balm, spearmint

Caffeine Free

Brew at 212 degrees for 7 minutes

2024 Advent Calendar #14

The hibiscus is strong in this one. Once I got past that, I started to taste the peach coming through. It’s not like a juicy ripe peach more like the off season not worth your time peaches that you get at the grocery store in mid winter. It might be better chilled or with honey.

Unfortunately, all I can taste in this tea is the hibiscus. It may be because I steeped so long, but there is no sign of the orchard fruit promised in the name. It’s also drying out my mouth in a most unpleasant way. I think this one will be best served cold. I’m sure that’s how it was intended to be done.
