Colour: mainly golden.
Scent: pronounced rose and fruit (fresh fruit: citrus, lychee), sustained by vanilla, honey, cocoa, cooked fruit and leather notes.
Brewed leaves:
Scents: sweet notes of fruit (fresh fruit, stewed fruit), honey, wood (wax polished wood), vanilla, rhubarb jam, lychee, prune and cocoa. The infusion immediately reveals this tea’s wonderfully rich aromas.
Liquor:
Colour: a clear, gleaming liquor with a coppery red colour.
Texture: thick and smooth, with a very delicate astringency that gives the tea a good presence and length.
Aromas: lovely complex aromas with floral, rose, fruit (cooked fruit and fresh fruit: prune, lychee, rhubarb), undergrowth, vanilla pod and brown honey notes

Our verdict:
A sublime tea from Gao Xian mountain (from the garden in Sichuan province situated at an altitude of 1010 metres). This tea will delight connoisseurs with its lovely rich aromas and length in the mouth. It takes its name from the many golden buds. Highly complex, it has a multitude of aromas including fruit, rose floral, wood, honey and undergrowth, and a smooth texture. A masterpiece!
