From Nourish Tea

Like all black teas, the base of our chai is from Sri Lanka, but oh baby! its just gets better from there. Throw in a hint of ginger, a less-than-subtle hint of cinnamon and shovel of cardamom, and you may as well be dancing in the streets of Delhi (close your eyes…and you’re there). This is one spicy cup of chai and we’re dam proud of having this cup on the nourishteam. Using nothing but pure and natural ingredients – as usual, nourishtea makes one fine cup of chai! Go on, give it a chai (see what I did?)

ZOMG! Amazing. I picked this tea up on a whim – the leaves themselves give off a strong aroma but the tea itself isn’t overbearing. It reminds me of Thanksgiving with subtle hints of cinnamon and ginger. A chai black tea with leaves from Sri Lanka that leaves you with an amazing kick in the mouth! You must try this tea!

I made this on the stovetop, which I think makes it extra spicy. Started with 1c. water, 2 tea spoons of the tea, brought to a boil then turned down to simmer x 5min. Then I added 1c. milk and 1 tbsp honey, stirred constantly until it came back to a boil, then took it off the heat and let it sit for another 5min. Strained into a mug and added a bit more honey. Yummmm.

OMGsrsly

Oh yum. I have a blend at home, I should do this tonight.
