This one is supposed to be a chocolate cake rooibos, but it smells like rooibos and tastes like rooibos and cardboard.
I think this may have been a casualty of the advent design, in which the sachet is just inside a cardboard box with no wrapper… :(

I remember this tea from 3 years ago. The chocolate was well present back then, strongly aromatic. It is right now very similar, sweet, sponge cake aroma.
In taste it is nice, chocolate cake like tea without much of woody rooibos taste. As of caffeine-free tea it is very nice tea. Sweet as well!

I don’t know. I have long found the cardboard taste to be a trait of rooibos.
Yeah but one of the other black teas tasted cardboardy too… :(
