«Fu Zhuan» («Golden Longevity Tea Brick») made in Anhua (Hunan Province) in 2017. The microbe Eurotium Cristatum or Jin Hua (Golden Flowers), extremely healthy, participates in the creation of this tea. Its colonies look like yellow grains scattered on the surface of the tea. Golden Flowers live on the Longevity Mushrooms, Fu Lin (Poria cocos, Poria coconut), the name of which was included in the name of this tea.
800 g tea briquette of pressed tea leaves with stiff cuttings. The aroma is intensive, spicy-woody with a fruity accent. The liquor is transparent, with yellow ocher shade.
The bouquet of the brewed tea is mature, spicy-woody, with notes of oak moss, autumn leaves, honey and dried fruits. The aroma is deep and warm, spicy-fruity with a honey hint. The taste is full-bodied and mild, sweetish, with light woody tartness, fruity sourness and refreshing finish.

Very green Fu Brick, but plenty of fungus in my sample. These Hunan green hei chas frequently have avery fresh wood/raspberry character. This one is no different. Raspberry ketone sweetness, dry wood, autumnal (but dry). No really bitterness. A little drying . Oily texture. Not a lot of base notes. Very inoffensive for a tea covered in mold.
Not sure I’d recommend this tea. It depends. If you’ve never had a Hunan green brick hei cha, I’d say this is a great example for really cheap. If you are an experienced Fu cha drinker, this isn’t terribly special.
