Before I begin: not a particular fan of citrus tea or chamomile, although the latter one is starting to grow on me, since it was one of the most reliably available teas in Costa Rica. With that in mind, onto this tea.

Smells powerfully citrusy. No surprises there. I think I steeped this a minute or two too long, and especially after I saw hibiscus in the ingredients, I was concerned for a moment that it would be another incarnation of Wild Sweet Orange (GAH!), but it wasn’t. Tangy and citrusy, but definitely drinkable. Still not my cup of tea. Ah well. It was warm. Not bad if you like this sort of thing. I just don’t.

Side note: when steeping, this suddenly turns an odd green color, and then gradually shifts to purpley red.

Tired and cranky arriving at work, I decided to grab a to-go tea from somewhere nearby instead of making my own in the office. It was either Tim Horton’s or a place that offers some Mighty Leaf teas. I went for this in the hopes that it would soothe my rather sore throat while I have to talk on the phone all night. And, it’s tastier than I expected! Not a chamomile fan, but this is one of the nicest incarnations I’ve witnessed. It’s balanced well with the fresh citrus, and I didn’t taste too much rosehip/hibiscus tartness. It also helped the ol’ throat a little.

I really enjoy this tea. So much so that I purchased a pound of it. It is a regular, late-night-no-caffeine go-to for me. It won’t blow your mind, but it is refreshing. The taste is chamomile up front, then the citrus hits you and stays there to the finish. Others have said the citrus was a touch medicinal tasting, but I dont get that. A all-around, nice tea.

Completely agree about this tea. I buy it in sachets via Amazon Subscribe & Save. The citrus mellows the grassy chamomile taste without diminishing its relaxing properties.

Your right, it does cut through the grassiness you often get with chamomile. This may be a good intro to chamomile for those who have been turned off before.

This tea for me was just alright. But I’m really not a fan I’m chamomile teas so I’m sure for other people its wonderful. It has a nice flavour; calming and good for sore throats. What I will say though is that the loose leaf variety of this tea, looks absolutely stunning. I drank this out of my Libré Tea infuser glass, and it is so pretty. The little daisies and flowers “bloomed” inside the mug and it looked like a little garden. Props to Mighty Leaf for the most beautiful tea I’ve ever seen. I don’t know why everyone thinks that this smells or tastes like fruit loops though. I didn’t get that at all.

Rating: 61/100
Steep time: I just left it in the mug while I drank it.
Water temp. : just below boiling.

The first thing I noticed was the wonderful smell I got when I opened this pack. It smells divinely! However I wouldn’t really call this a chamomile citrus, it’s more like a citrus chamomile. While it is relaxing, it’s also sort of refreshing too. This strikes me as a tea that would be good to drink around cold and flu season. It seems like it would be soothing for your throat.

I’d really have to sip this one again to see how I really feel. I think.

In general, I like herbal tisanes, but this one is not something I’d go out of my way to drink again. It’s not terrible, but there’s something about it I find disagreeable. The scent of the tea is like the smell of the inside of a plastic bottle of Vitamin C tablets — fruity and orangey, but kind of artificial. While drinking it, the orange overpowers the chamomile flavor, and I get a weird chalky sensation at the back of my throat.

I do feel relaxed after drinking this, but I don’t like the way it tastes, and I don’t like drinking it. I’ll stick with my tried and true Traditional Medicinals Easy Now, which is a “relaxing” chamomile blend that tastes far better than this, even if it is a regular bagged tea!

I’m trying this for the first time. It came in a sampler pack I purchased last weekend. I’m not a fan of chamomile so this will be difficult for me. Prior to steeping it smells like cough medicine. During and After Steeping it smells like a Medicinal Tea. I can’t taste the citrus at all. I can taste the Chamomile and it’s not as gross as I usually think Chamomiles are. I am going to increase my rating only because I don’t like Chamomile…and I am giving this a whirl. At first I didn’t like it at all but I tried it – another sip and another sip and as my sips progressed I found an acquired taste for it. It’s better than some Chamomile based teas I have tried but it’s not as good as Foxtrot from Adagio…then again – that’s in a world of it’s own…at least IMO.

Another triumph from Mighty Leaf! This chamomile tisane comes on quickly with the flavors of chamomile and citron, and is quietly overcome by a delightful rising honey flavor. As other tasters have mentioned, the often off-putting bitter taste of chamomile is delightfully absent. I have never tasted a Mighty Leaf blend that I didn’t like, and Chamomile Citrus is no exception.

I agree so much that this tea reminds me of fruity cereal! I was going to say Fruity Pebbles, but was not all that surprised that another user saw the resemblance as well… even if I thought of a different cereal, haha.

A more than decent tea with the most amount of chamomile and herbs blended together…quite the a blend! Its like a tea that begs you to sleep and promises a new day that will be as fulfilling as the next. The usually chamomile flavors are present giving an almost earthy-flowery profile while the orange zests and rose hips gives it a delicate touch and energy . The lemon grass, mint, and lemon myrtle imparts a really gives me a sense of a upliftment for the next day!
