In a bit of a hurry, but thought I’d write a quick note about this before I head out. Will write a more thorough review in the future.

Smooth, creamy, can definitely taste the caramel/coconut. A bit too sweet for my taste (then again, I try to keep my sugar intake on the low side). I got the lower grade version that’s on sale— still very impressed. The mix made from the good stuff must be phenomenal.

Made with 2% milk shaken up in my coffee/flavoured tea tumbler. Since my flatmates and I never did get around to buying a new blender when ours broke. Whoops. Still managed to get a bit of froth by shaking for a minute, to my surprise!

Even though it’s a little too sweet for my tastes, still good for the occasional drink— very enjoyable and ridiculously simple to make! Can definitely understand why many are raving about it. Glad I got to try it out!

Silentrequiem wrote a glowing review about the deliciousness of this tea PLUS this tea was temporarily available online for a ridiculously discounted price, so I bought two 1lb bags. It is definitely very, very tasty. I’ve only had it cold so far, and I’ve tried it with two different types of vanilla soymilk as well as with 1% real milk. I think I liked it better with soymilk (as long as there’s enough matcha powder to prevent the vanilla flavor from taking center stage). I’ve been making it with a bit more powder than recommended because I like the flavor stronger. The powder has a bunch of sweetener in it, so this is probably bad… I’ve also found it hard to drink this slowly because it’s just so tasty.

It’s best blended (to make sure there are no powder balls), but simply shaking the milk and powder in a sealed container works pretty well (although the last time I did this, I kept encountering powder balls and had to re-shake it halfway through). Overall, a very tasty tea [that I’m drinking too much of]!

Debbie

I need to buy more of this. I’m almost out of my first 1 lb bag…

Oh my goodness, this is caramel cappuccino awesomeness in a powder! I didn’t have my matcha whisk, because it’s in storage, but I made do with an egg whisk (don’t shoot me, it’s all I had!), and it seemed to work just fine. I brewed it up in 3 parts water and 1 part milk, and sweet hallelujah, it was so delicious!! I just kept sipping and sipping and sipping, completely unable to put it down until it was gone. It didn’t need sugar one bit. I’m so glad I’ve finally gotten to see what all the fuss is about with Red Leaf’s flavored matchas. This one, at least, gets an A+! If they have any more of this, I will be ordering it.

I absolutely love this stuff. It’s like every tea lover’s crack. Not that I’ve ever tried crack before, but…you know.

The only way this could be better is if I had gotten a higher grade matcha (I got the lowest). There is a little bit of an earthy/pungent aftertaste, but other than that it is EXPLODING WITH CARAMEL.

Plus, I’ve always had a guilty love for frappes and this is the perfect alternative. I bought this on a whim because it was on sale and I will definitely be buying more Red Leaf matchas in the future. Probably not the Matchaccino next time just because I want to experiment with my own sweeteners. :)

I usually blend this with unsweetened vanilla coconut milk and a few ice cubes. If I’m feeling a little crazy I add things like kale, a peeled aloe leaf, hemp powder, and/or a chunk of frozen banana!

I have a problem, and its name is Caramel MATCHAccino. Though very soon I will have a new problem – being out of Caramel MATCHAccino, which will be infinitely worse.

I’ve nearly finished my generous sample of this in two days. I have one serving left and it’s sitting on my counter, taunting me to sip it down while I pack.

This is seriously so, so delicious. I really, really should not order more tea anything, until I finish more stuff, but I may need to make an exception for this, because I want to drink it every day.

Kristal

I just checked your cupboard-do you really have 514 teas?

Lindsay

This made me laugh out loud. :)

Anlina

Yup. 514 give or take a few. Mostly small samples thank goodness. Which is why I’m not supposed to buy more tea.

Lindsay

Yeah, how many of those are from that one enormous Teabox sampler? :) I make myself feel better by not adding anything I have less than 10g of… and it’s still getting a bit out of hand…

Kristal

That makes sense then :)

When done right this is so amazing. The first time I tried I messed it up pretty big. Wrong amount of matcha, wrong amount of milk… milk way to hot… It was pretty mad. But this time around I made sure to research what I was doing and I went to Ikea to pick up a frother. And it works great! Hopefully it lasts longer then things usually do from there…

Anyway. Great flavor. Even though it was a bit more bubbly then I meant to make it, it still tasted great. The caramel comes out so nice but still leaves room for you to taste the green tea. So much yum.

Um yyyuuuummmm. This matcha is so good! I’ve already had two today lol. It tastes like a caramel milk shake. I’ve only had the English toffee and Belgium chocolate matchas. Compared to those two, the caramel flavor is stronger and the matcha milk seems much creamier. The directions said 1 scoop, so I used the small spoon from my silverware for 8oz milk. I want to drink this all the time!!
