From Lupicia

Organically grown bancha that contains almost no caffeine. The refreshing and gentle fragrance that you can drink very much is attractive.

1) Although it tastes like tea, it contains almost no
caffeine. The amount of caffeine is checked by a third party for each production, and only those that pass are shipped.
2) Organic JAS certification
3) Clean and fragrant flavor like roasted
tea

Tea branches (thicker than stems that are wooded) that contain almost no caffeine are selected by sticking to organically cultivated tea gardens and fired. After cutting it so that it would pass through, it was fragrant.

It can be widely used by those who are concerned about hydration and caffeine of children, before taking a rest, and with meals.

It was grey and drizzly all day, so I was craving a nice, comforting hojicha this afternoon. I figured I would try this one for the first time! I actually bought this at a Lupicia store in Osaka a couple of years ago, and had never gotten around to opening it until a recent swap. It’s a beautiful tea – big chunky pieces of roasted twig in a variety of browns.

It has a lovely mellow roasty flavor, with a soft sweetness and notes of firewood and autumn leaves. Warm and cozy but not smoky or overwhelmingly roasty. Plus the name means “dream pillow” (I think), how cute is that? :D
